Many More New Additions

The farm keeps getting busier by the day.  We just acquired a whole new set of animals from someone here in Oliver who needs time to get other things in order.  We have a 300 pound pig, a bunch of rabbits, homing pigeons, 2 ducks, more Turkeys and Chickens along with a couple of peacocks.  We have been busy setting these animals up & getting to know them.  Yesterday we took a long drive out to pick up a milking goat & this morning we milked her & now we have fresh goats milk in our fridge!  Along with the new baby things are in full swing.  Sadly we had our first encounter with a nasty Raccoon, he managed to get one of our Turkeys but were making sure it will never be possible to do again.  So between collecting seeds & picking our garden & setting up the animals we do not have time for much else.  If anyone is interested in fresh basil, tomatoes, beets, carrots, zucchini or potatoes...come on down or call us @ 250.498.4746 - soon we hope to be able to sell goats and pigs here and there as well!
