Winding Down....It is not happening!

Well we have been so busy busy that I have been neglecting this blog.  We are in the process of putting up new fencing for our new additions to the farm....3 cows!  This place is going to seem a whole lot smaller soon I am guessing.  We had a friend store his back hoe on the property so we took advantage and we have been working like mad people.  We dug a large watering hole for the animals so we do not have to fill up containers every few days.  Matteo is now 4 months old and he is all smiles...a very happy baby....must be all the fresh air out here!  The weather said it could snow tomorrow and we still have not dug up all of our carrots & beets.  Everyday my goal is to get out there and dig them up but other things keep coming up and it is almost too late.  The days are very short & the nights are cold now, we have our wood stove burning all of the time now.  I have a feeling it is going to be a long & cold winter this year but we wont mind a little down time is good now and then!
